How can there be a gold ounce going for only a $15 premium on ebay right now? I don't think I've ever seen such tight pricing before. How can they do this? Do you guys usually get deals like that? I haven't bought an ounce yet but they are making it hard to resist. I usually see $50-80 premiums so I just don't get how they are doing it.

Can the seller be trusted? Is it one ounce of gold, or one ounce of silver that has been gold plated? I have seen those usually with the St Gaudens design.

Will you post a link to the auction?

I don't know. It looks okay, but I agree the premium is odd

His prices were lower yesterday! Ozs of gold for 1096. I have bills this week otherwise that would have been bought. I bought 2-1/10s yesterday for under 120 each. Very good deal and this guy usually has the best PM prices on ebay. I know a couple of other people on Instagram after I made note of this made a few purchases as well. I will keep everyone updated on when I receive my items.
Rest in Peace

He's sold a zillion of these, his feedback is just fine, even though he has a few negs and neutrals. Most of those N & N's are from buyers of bullion who think the coin should be perfect and not have any "dents" and such like.

This may very well be the best way to obtain new customers, too. Likely they have a well established follow up team for each sale that will contact you with other offers later.

But you have no worry about them, other than the fact that your bullion might not be MS-70.
