Good to hear.

The LCS I frequent had a counterfeit $3 gold coin. Real gold and it looked great.

The LCS submitted it to NGC at a show I believe. Came back as fake but real gold.

You just never know, but it sounds like we do here.

We get those too. Most times the fake ones, when you
really look at them, something will seem off.

When we get the fake ones, we buy as gold, then
take them to be melted down.

The is a very good expert in Mobile Alabama. A lot of
dealers use him as their go to guy. Next local coin show
I go to, I may take some of these and get his opinion.

We feel we are getting pretty good at spotting the fakes.

I am hoping to get a different gold coin back in todays
mail. It graded good also.
