ChildOfTheWheat, this one's for you. Just purchased. I looked for 3 straight hours through listings trying to find the right combination of "nice", "well struck", "not ridiculously overpriced", "actually believable grade", and "1924 or older"... It's not a FH coin. At least, not on the holder. But. Look at those rivets... Grade: NGC (old) ______, non FH?. You tell me Even if you're not COTW, feel free to jump in! Hope this satisfies your desire for SLQ's for at least a couple of minutes... I think it needs a bit more detail on the hair and on the three leaves to get FH. Still a beautiful coin
MS65?

I will go with MS65 as well. I really like that coin. I am only 6 coins into this set but would gladly have one like this in my collection.

I believe if you disregard the head, which is not fully struck NGC will give it MS-66 + Real nice SLQ.

Did you buy this coin to sell to COTW? If you did, COTW must have a bigger budget than I could have imagined.
Anyhoo, MS-65 easily, possibly MS-66.

Small abrasions on the upper right thigh on obverse is the only possible minor detraction. I'd be in at MS-65, too.

Dang! I don't even *like* SLQs, but this one is beautiful! The dings on her right leg and the drapery will keep it in the MS-65 range, but everything else cries MS-66. Not FH, tho...

Nice selection! In addition to the marks already mentioned on the leg and drapery, there appear to be some in the field at lower left of the reverse, and below the eagle's neck. Could go MS-64 or 65.

I didn't buy it "for" COTW, I had mentioned in another thread I'd go buy an older SLQ in better grade, and he wanted to see pictures of whatever I ended up buying.

Maybe not FH but it might as well be for eye appeal. I have it as a strong high-end 64 and 65 wouldn't surprise me at all. It's available into MS67 so 65 isn't out of reach for the average collector, maybe a $350 coin.
