You can see the split serifs on this one. Pretty nice to find in circulation.

Yes, not to unusual to find em every so often in nice shape, but to find a nice variety in nice shape is a whole different cow. Congratulations.

I don't understand how the serifs can be so close and the vertical bars so far apart?

The punch gets hit several times and if it moves at all, that is where we get the RPMs. This one moved a couple of times. It doesn't show as well on the other examples I have looked at.

I would like to see a wider shot of the full mint mark and the date area. This one looks like a different die to me. Then I could make an overlay to see if it matches the other die I have in mind. The missing loop on the lower serif isn't on the 029.

And I answered incorrectly. (sorry I just woke up a few minutes ago) Your coin shows a split lower serif, but the image on CC's doesn't show the split. The one on the E-disk does not show that split lower serif. So I was wondering about the location to see if they are different.

The first clue that this is not 029 was the split on the lower serif. It seem to close for a call on an overlay. (looked slighty off) So I made a side by side.

So they are not from the same die. Will have to do some more checking for this die.
