Obverse reads ...[PRO]BVS AVG - that BVS makes it Probus. The reverse legend reads ROMAE AETER (Rome forever) and shows a temple with a figure within - this figure is probably Roma, the personification of the city of Rome.

The late antonniniani after Gallienus tended to be mostly bronze with a silver wash if any silver at all. You will not hurt this coin to treat it as a bronze.
