found this half dollar and there seems to be doubling next to the left horses head and the letters what do you guys think?

I can't tell for sure. There's a bit of glare in the pics.

I think its Mechanical Doubling (MD) and not a doubled die because I don't see any split serifs.

Is the 'doubling' around the horse head flat or roundish? If it's flat then it's MD.

It might also be the product of a worn die.
