It looks like a DDO, my reasoning behind my "guess" is the doubling looks rounded and not flat, though it could be the lighting. There is no listed DDO for 1981 on Chucks site or Coneca.

I need a better picture of the date. The lighting is playing with the picture too much.

I wanted to bump this back up....Jrock, can you get a better picture on this?

I don't see split serifs but the picture is interesting. Perhaps better angle or lighting would show it as Machine Doubling.

I concur. Chuck, It's nice to see you back on again! I see you located the laptop. How is the un-packing going? If my past experiences in this area serve me well, You are finding more "stuff' that just doesn't fit, than you expected. Been there, done that, MANY times.
