Although the seller does not advertise that this is unsearched, still an obvious dead giveaway the seller knew to put a altered date cent with the obverse showing and probably filled the rest of the roll with crappy 50's coins.

Whether the seller says it's unsearched or not, there is no such thing as an unsearched roll of coins, unless you have personally just found it in the attic of your sainted grandmother's house.

It's not even a machine wrapped roll.

Or you bought them from a blind person who saved pennies.

Some of those 'unsearched' roll listings crack me up. He must have x-ray vision.

The old, classic "bought at estate sale" disclaimer...so don't blame him when the rolls are filled with junk.

He's copying this guy's strategy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/121706858620

Looks real. 4 listed and sold 2. Best I can figure is that he's unloading some 14D coins that have serious problems.

Almost looks like an altered 1944 D? Thoughts?

Kinda think OldSkool is right. This '14-D obverse looks scarily real.

Actually, his picture shows one, but he's selling four. So the one in the picture may be real, but what you get might be quite different.
