Now don't get me wrong, I have found some nice errors and varieties in the past, but I am jealous. For the past 20 years I have been trying to find this coin in circulation and this weekend my friend finds one in pocket change! So here you go...

When I lived in PA, and over about five years, I've come across 6 of them. This stuff is out there. keep looking and you'll find them! These were first found in the Lancaster area of PA, so if you are in that area, you have a little bit of an advantage.

The one that is still driving me nuts is the 1984 Doubled ear cent. I still have never found on in a roll.

I hear you Bill. The 83 and 84 have eluded me for far to long! I'm pretty sure this one was nicked from a collection as we live in Denver.

Sorry! It is a double die on the reverse of the coin. Look at the ONE CENT and UNITED.

Nice find. I guess this means I am going to have to start really looking at all of the Lincoln's I have already. I can't let you have all the fun! Happy Hunting!

He is a closer shot of the doubling on the 1983 reverse and the 1995 obverse.
