Hello, just getting around to taking some more pictures of some newly inherited coins. These were labeled in the book as 1857, 1858-ll, 1858-sl, respectively. Would just like some opinions on the grade / value if you have some time! Thanks.

1857. F15. VF20 if the tail feathers look better than they do in this picture.

1858, coin #1. VF30. Large letters.

1858, coin #2. VF25. Possibly a small letters variety if the bottoms of the A and M in AMERICA are not touching. Hard to see from the photos.

Awesome, thanks. Is it actually realistic to look to bring in $60+ per coin using this?

Possibly, but not likely. The Numismedia FMV is better than the PCGS and NGC price guides, but still high imo. Do an advanced search on ebay for past sold values on similar coins, and that should give you a good idea of value.

Ok thanks, I was thinking it did seem a bit high, too. I just have a potential buyer asking for prices on a package of coins to throw together. Probably thinking these 3 for around $100 total then.

$100 for the three is reasonable. I'd say they are worth $75 - $125. Probably $75 to a fair dealer and $125 to a collector.
