Quote: Nothing new today as I was out of town for this weekend. Don't worry, I brought a load home after my trip but nothing in relation to the sunday market, so nothing will be shown here today sadly. Next week should be clear No worry. We can wait.

Some more nice finds Andreas. Looks like some might have been stored in PVC, as there is a green tinge on them. That should come off with acetone though. :)

Quote: Looks like some might have been stored in PVC, as there is a green tinge on them Some last week, almost all today. I bought two album pages of coins today, one with Latvian coins and one with a few German. All PVC plastic and the coins had clearly been in there for some time Luckily acetone does the trick, but the damage done is irreversible. (Pictures taken after cleaning) 5 Rentenpfennig, Germany 1924-A 10 Pfennig, Germany 1888-D 10 Rentenpfennig, Germany 1924-A 10 Reichspfennig, Germany 1929-A 1 PFennig, Germany 1967-D 5 Pfennig, Germany 1976-J 50 PFennig, Germany 1969-F 5 Mark, Germany 1966-F 1 Santims, Latvia 1932, 1935, 1937 (x2), 1938 (x2) & 1939 (x2) 2 Santimi, Latvia 1932 & 1939 (x2) 5 Santimi, Latvia 1922 20 Santimu, Latvia 1922 2 Lati, Latvia 1925 ˝ Dollar, US 1964 50 for the Half dollar, 50 for the German coins and 40 for the Latvian. Particularily happy about the Latvian pieces

Well, today brought a if not a little bit less exciting lot. A little bit more of the 'regulars' today 1 Haler, Czechoslovakia 1960 5 Qepik, Azerbaijan (2006) 5 Öre, Sweden 1971 1 Krona, Sweden 1946 & 1973 10 Schilling, Austria 1980 50 Pfennig, Germany 1950-J (x2), 1968-D, 1970-F, 1972-F, 1974-F, 1980-G, 1984-D (x2), 1985-G, 1989-J & 1990-J (x2) 1 Mark, East Germany 1982-A 1 Mark, Germany 1950-G & 1971-D 2 Mark, Germany 1969-D, 1973-G & 1975-F The Azerbaijani circulation coins do not have dates. Furthermore, it's fun to see how most of them are modelled after the Euro. The 5 Qepik coins is like the 10 Cent coins except it's slightly thicker and in copper-plated steel. The edge and diameter is otherwise exactly the same. The 1 Euro Cent and 1 Qepik is the same, so is the 2 Euro Cent/3 Qepik, 20 Euro Cent/10 Qepik and 2 Euro/50 Qepik, with all Azerbaijani coins being glorified steel only. This lot cost 50 today. Sadly I cannot make it to today's market due to I'm going away today, to Germany. I simply don't have enough time for now. Next week it is!
