I searched to try and find that ebay contact that works with CCF on listings we think are suspicious, but I cannot find it. There is a seller I found that is selling 1970-S large date cents as 1970-S small dates. From his feedback, it looks like several people have paid his $20-30 fees for a coin worth .01 cent. I have contacted the seller directly several times to advise him his auctions are not small date, but rather the common and not-so-valuable large dates. He (I assume it's a he, I guess?) has never responded to my contact, but continues to list these auctions. I keep reporting them to ebay, but geez, nothing seems to be getting done about them! Can someone point me toward someone who WILL do something? If this is in the wrong area, please move it mods.

Listing link please so others here can report it. The more that report, the sooner ebay may act.

Coin specific reporting is gone. https://goccf.com/t/84&whichpage=2You can report specific auctions through the "Report Item" link in the auction and link them at CCF so others can report them too.

Just reported it but most likely ebay will not do anything (as usual, unless Bobby gets involved or it's patently obvious the listing is fraudulent). The "Report This Item" link will not let you enter what the exact problem is with the listing. So, when you report your concerns, ebay's T&S reps will have no clue as to what the problem is and just let the listing run like there is nothing wrong. It's Buyer beware with this stuff.

The only people buying this are clueless, or foolish.

I have been filing these under fraudulent listing practices. As far as I am concerned, he knows he is listing the LD as a SD but chooses to continue to do so, ripping people off in the process, so that's sounding like fraud to me.

Unless they get suspended they bounce back like nothing happened.
If they get suspended they just bounce back with a new ID.

ebay basically wants you to send all complaints to the rotary file (or /dev/nul for computer nerds)

Thanks Bobby, not like Uncle ebay has any favorite Nephews... but we all know you are special.
