1 cent, not to be sarcastic, but they have no value to collectors.

You posted this in the wrong forum BTW.

Actually there are some collectors of the counterstamped lincolns ,, they do not carry a large value ,,a dollar or so generally ,,but I have seen some sell for a few bucks each .

Both of the above are correct. They really are only worth 1 cent unless you find the right buyer. I watched one on ebay sell for over $20 to some poor schmuck, and it was a commonly found coin (for counterstamped Lincolns) that had been electroplated. Find the right buyer and it's worth more, but there aren't many people who go out of their way to collect these.

I'm assuming he means with other things struck over a Cent.

But he could have meant elongated coins.

The Nickel one had a football team marked on the reverse. But they way it was rolled left part of the design on both sides. I bought one of several types but gave them to my Grandson.

I saw a hobo cent sell for a few bucks on ebay, it actually was a pretty nice looking cent, I almost bid on it.
