The Panama Balboa coins are all great.

They all have similar obverse, but not quite all the same either.

Some of the reverses are fantastic.

Here is the reverse of the full Balboa, kind of like their Morgan, Peace, or Ike dollar.

I don't know about grade. There seems to be something on the obverse between noon and one o'clock.

Probably some wear too, but you really can't tell from the pictures. I have pulled similar looking coins though from the LCS junk foreign silver bin. They don't sell for much above melt value typically.

Also worth noting that these coins were actually made in the US and shipped to Panama. I can't remember if they used dime planchets, or had their own special planchets for these coins.

And as you said, 1934 is a key or semi-key for the series and as such will demand a premium, albeit a small one as this is not a widely collected series.
