281776270893The implication of this listing is that PCGS slabbed replica coin as a collection. But the label in the picture just says cleaning - AU details with a photoshopped(?) typed copy of the reverse. -----Burton 50+ year / Life / Emeritus ANA member (joined 12/1/1973) Life member: Numismatics International, CONECA Member: TNA, FtWCC, NETCC, EveryCountry (online) coin club Owned by three cats and a wife of 40+ years (joined 1983) Author: 3rd Edition of the Sample Slabs book, https://www.sampleslabs.info/

I too saw this the other day on my highlighted list since I have coins in a search parameter. He states its a high grade replica/copy and he inserted copy on the back so ebay wouldn't take it down. Its not a real slab probably a fake to dupe people. I too was tricked into looking I would've bought that in a heartbeat for like 60 bucks if it was genuine.

My guess is a stolen picture of a genuine slabbed PCGS 1894 Morgan AU Detail / Cleaned..
You can see the photoshop job on the label where they erased the text above the "Cleaning AU Details" and the cert numbers above the bar code.

It's definitely photoshoped. It's either a total scam or it's to cover details of the forgery.

Of course it's not a real...the Seller even tells you it's not real. Will ebay get around to taking it down? Probably not until Bobby gets involved.

The coin is a fake and so is the slab. The seller photo-shopped "PCGS" out of the picture because it is not genuine. Nothing nefarious about this auction at least to the point that the seller is not attempting to pass off a chinese counterfeit as authentic.

Quote: Of course it's not a real...the Seller even tells you it's not real. The question was whether it's an auction for a forged PCGS slab or a scam using an altered photo of a real PCGS slab. Edit: It's not a real auction now.
