For $31,000 she should be "screaming" to you and yes, she is purdy!
Rest in Peace

At that price she should be singing you lullabies. A beautiful coin. Are you one of the 22 watchers?

Man. Julian is asking ludicrous prices for his coins these days. That's MS66 money; it's a $10k coin in the 65 he claims it deserves. The MS64 example from the Newman Collection only realized $7k, for crying out loud.

My opinion of Julian Leidman is going downhill.

He (Julian) puts these things on ebay with stupid prices hoping that some uninformed idiot will hit the "Buy It Now" button.

Just in case, he has the "Best Offer" option available so that some informed idiot might make an offer close to actual "ask".

I personally think the coin is not that "purdy" cause I've seen better coins for a heck of a lot less money.

And when some random ebay seller does that, we ridicule them for their moral bankruptcy in these pages. A national reputation as a numismatist and dealer should not change that. He gets a pass on fleecing people because he's Julian Leidman?

Doesn't matter whether it's the Big Time Coin dealer or "Joe the Smuck" casual ebay seller.....it's wrong either way.

Some of the worst I've seen in 40 years of this hobby are also "upstanding members" of every numismatic organization on the planet. That's what's scary.

Integrity? What's that?
