Interesting that it's actually less than the Truman set right now. These are all the people who bought them because their brother in law told them they should. Once they're out of the way, the price will go back up.

I can say this right? If jbuck's Ike set would have had some issue that made it so he couldn't even look at it I would have gladly traded one of my good sets for his After all Ike's #1 fan deserves a set he can be proud of -MV

You are awesome and I am not worthy. I think the fulfillment center realized who I was and acted accordingly.

The last sets ordered have been shipped out and those are just getting delivered today as mine did, so there is currently a short term glut of sets as all the newbie flippers list theirs. Once that dissipates, the sets will go right back up.

As someone said earlier, wait till Christmas when people want to buy gifts for their numismatic friends.
I'm only flipping the one I'm not keeping of the two I got from the mint, so not as concerned about it as a dealer would who probably have more invested in their inventory by buying hundreds above the selling price using shill buyers and want to move their inventory quickly.

Sealed sets of 2 are now down to $350. Yikes, I wonder where the bottom will be before the rebound. This is more like a paper stock than a coin set lol
Papageorgio, your also forgetting that the big buyers with shills like hsn & mcm are bulk grading for cheap and probably get a high relative number of pf and ms 70s which adds to their net profits

I wonder if the general low quality being reported is affecting demand. Very happy to have a nice looking set. Very happy.

It seems to me that the Ike's are better quality than the Truman.
My Truman sets are all definitely not 70s, but my Ike's have a possibility.

I do not have a problem with either set, but if I have to pick nits, the packaging on the Eisenhower set is better than the Truman. The printing on my Truman set looks uneven in places. However, the coins and medals are fine.
To expand, my previous comment was regarding the perceived quality of both sets. Those who paid big money for a Truman set only to be disappointed by quality are going to be reluctant to to buy the Eisenhower. If that makes sense. It is just a thought.
