I have a few bills in that category as well. My grandfather gave them to me,he told me they were his old poker bills lol.

That's where you sit in a pub, sucking down a few cold ones and everyone takes out some bills from their wallet and plays poker with the serial numbers on the bill. Since US bills have 8 numbers, you add the number of players to that. Everyone puts in 1 or 2 bucks in the pot and then you start betting "I've got 4 8's, even though you may not have any in your hand, because the winner (at the end) counts all of that number total in all the bills. Then you go around the table, with each person bidding a little more than the last bid, each time more bucks flow into the pot. So with the bill that was shown (the seven 9's)you'd be pretty safe bidding up to 10 9's at the end and take the pot. Experienced players keep a small collection of good bills just to play

This is why we wouldn't let players use their own bills ... we'd buy bills from the bartender/waitress and use those, that way we knew everyone had random bills and no one was using a ringer.
