hello guys.im new to coin colecting so please dont laugh.lol.i always thought the coin grading company "ICG" was kinda top dog.and now what I see on hsn is ANACS,did the merge?

I don't think they merged I think that JT just got feed up with ICG BS and found a few friends who wanted to have TPG with out all the BS and just grade truly for the collector not the TV. So HSN has some Anacs coin they sell all TPG coins but do have a deal with ICG .I have seen NGC&PGCS on there too.
I watch HSN & the Coin Vault to have laugh!

No merger(at least not yet) but ANACS was purchased by a former grader of ICG, James Taylor. For more info, see this post https://goccf.com/t/23127
