1976 D Ike Type 1? Thoughts On Grade?

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18665 Posts	Posted 08/26/2015 8:43 pm I'm at AU55 I don't think this coin is MS and here's why. The first pic is washed out by light so I couldn't use that. The 2nd obverse pic shows some pretty good ticks across the face and the luster appears worn off on the cheek. Most of all the hair above the ear appears to have circulation wear. The reverse has even more broken luster and quite a lot of abrasions. If it is MS I cant go higher than 60 or 61. I'm thinking it has had light circulation. The reverse just has too many indicators to the contrary Report this Post to the Staff

This pic really doesn't do the coins justice. Several of them have an iridescent tone to them. You can kind of see it on the 72. All of these were pulled from circulation.
