Unusual 2004 4 Minute Mile Roger Bannister 50-P

Victory New Member United Kingdom 8 Posts	Posted 08/23/2015 09:10 am Hi I recently found a 50p which is thicker than it is supposed to be, maybe twice as thick. Ive then read up and found out that the mint made 7500 piedfort coins which are twice as thick and twice the weight. The usual weight for the 2004 50p is 8g with the piedfort supposed to be 16g my one weighs 9.8g :S . Has anybody else come across similar anomalies Report this Post to the Staff
