Woodchip strikethrough seems to be the best possibility

Oh, great. Now we get to agree with Condor OR SuperDdave?

Gotta go with Condor on this one

Of course you should agree with Conder when he's making more sense than I am at the moment. I'm not in his league as a numismatist, and ADD/HD to boot so I'm prone to going off with incomplete prior thinking. Incuse features are particularly difficult for me.

Back to the drawing board. Gotta find something that will strike through and leave seams at both ends (now that I look closer) without actually remaining present physically. In other words, the metal moved by the object being struck through was the last metal to move, and it kinda "splashed" into the depression created by the T in LIBERTY and formed an edge in the silver. And it was stuck into the die pretty darned firmly to have created such a nice thin sharp delineation at the L. Dropped letter, maybe? It even seems to have the right side contours to be a die feature.

Fascinates me even more now.

There are no after mint errors. Interesting variety though, might have been struck through. Looks authentic.
Rest in Peace

That's just one of the joys of living on the spectrum. We see things differently, more creatively. There was a study on it recently....now where did I see that...?

oooh something shiny....

Don't hesitate to post the other coins that you think have errors. Your photos are great and this is a lot of fun for us.

Just name the coin in the title with somethng like "Error?". The experts will figure it out and I will, from time to time, show up and guess.
