The seller in the title lists the coin as a MS64 DMPL in a ICG holder, but the coin is actually in a PCI holder. The coin looks at best MS 61 or 62. Any chance the coin is DMPL? See link below. 361369680529

IMHO it is NOT DMPL. it's not a bad coin , I'd give it MS-63.

There is absolutely no way that you can view those gosh-awful photos and tell anything at all about grade or DMPL. At best all you can do is hope this third rate TPG was within a point or two. I myself never buy when I can't have confidence in the photos or the TPG.

It might make PL at best but the photo is not good enough to judge that. I agree with MS63 as the top.

Possibly PL, but not DMPL. But seller is being possibly being slippery imo, or else he missed the fact it's in a PCI slab (as Slider mentioned) and not ICG. The reason I say slippery, is that ebay will let you say anything you want about a coin if it's in an approved slab, like numerical grades, etc.

Agree with mox - who could really say anything definitive from these photos?

PCI was only getting grades right via luck in those days, so one may reasonably assume it's neither 64 nor DMPL. I wouldn't presume to discern the seller's motive, but it bears mentioning that calling it an ICG coin allows him to list the grade in the title....

DMPL?
ROFL, more likely.
It's not even PL, in my opinion. Seller freely admits to manipulating the photo colors in his listing (!)
Other than that, it's a decent Morgan, at least from what you can see.

I wouldn't buy. looks like a 63, but impossible to tell if it is DMPL, although it most likely isn't. Plus the seller said it was ICG but it is PCI. ebay wont let you post a numerical grade, unless it is graded by PCGS, NGC, Anacs, or ICG.

Looks like a commercial BU, meaning MS-60 to 62 with lots of small scrapes and nicks. Luster looks strong but I'd bet it's ordinary frosty luster, with little or no mirror character.
Common date, low-end BU coin; value accordingly! Anything over $40 I'd say is too much to pay. At the current bid of $31 with free shipping it's a decent buy.
