I came across this 1941 S penny that seems to have some type of doubling on the date and the mint mark. I have researched it a little bit but haven't found any information on it. What type of doubling do you think this is? Thank you for your time.

Looks like deteriorated die doubling, (Machine doubling, MD), however Cents can be tough and I'm sure you will have answers from some of the top cent variety pros in a few hours.

1989 and older if the mint mark and date look doubled it most likely is MD. 1990 and newer it might be a doubled die.
