This has been driving me nuts for some time. There are a few places on ebay that they really (and I mean really) need to add a category.

For example, the Coins-world-Asia-Japan section has over 5,000 listings spanning 1500 years. It would make sense to at a minimum break it up into pre-1868 and post 1868 categories. That would keep the cast and the struck separate.

Same for the Coins-World-Asia-China. The "Empire until 1948" category is overbroad and should be at least broken into Pre-1912 and Republic categories for some sense of order. Heck, the current category name doesn't even make any sense - the Empire disintegrated in 1912 and the PRC was founded in 1949.

My question is who to talk to over at ebay to make this suggestion. Would they even listen to something like this?

Bad News

How would you talk to ebay?
The only connection that I know of is phoning Customer Service.
That's pretty much useless.

And it's HIGHLY unlikely ebay would even listen.
I tried making a suggestion years ago when ebay was much easier to get to.
They don't appear to listen.

What is meant, is that ebay does not listen. Nope, nada, they pretend to listen.

Your time would be better spent looking for change in your friend's furniture.......

Unless the suggestion comes from inside ebay, it won't get listened to.
