12x face seems to be a fairly good price for junk silver right now. There are some dealers online that are offering to buy at higher than that currently.

Yup maybe not the best buy/resell price at 12x face but definitely not a bad deal for keeping. $2500 of it though though that was pretty nuts. And I know 40% halves aren't as likeable but getting 2 rolls for $58 ain't bad seeing as that sells for $100 on ebay. Will have pics up shortly of my few winnings!

Well here are the pics! First purchase in the auction was the Kennedy halves! 40 40% silver halves 1965-69, and some of them are good enough condition to replace my others in my set!

Next the 1907 Indian Head cent. Appears to me to be EF40? I have trouble seeing the detail on copper coins. Will probably have to take better pics and put this up on its own thread for grade.

After the Indian cent I got these two incomplete Wheat cent albums. Most of the coins are well worn G condition but oh well. Both albums are 1909-1940 wheat cents.

Unfortunately, I did not give the albums the proper looking through and it was not a very great deal. The 1913s space in the second album is filled with a 1912P. I also noticed many others are off by a year before or after... but for $5, whatever. Lesson learned for next time.

And lastly, due to the kindness of the junk silver lady (who bought the $2500 of junk silver), I was able to purchase this 2015 1oz silver Somalian Elephant. Funny enough, this was the lowest priced 1oz silver out of any of them, even with generic, old, toned rounds and bars.

All in all, spent $86. That will all be paid for from the 40% halves. A good, worthwhile day! Thanks for all those who have kept up with my auction thread!
