I found this cent in a roll tonight and thought it looked interesting. Is this post mint damage?

Excuse me for I am new to the coin collecting world, but what is PMD and how can you tell this coin is PMD?

I know this question probably seems stupid but if someone could take the time to explain it to me in simple terms that would be much appreciated.

nickytort,

PMD = post mint damage

if you click on the underlined PMD, it will take you to the CCF Glossary.
