Got these from my parents today. I believe them to be from my grandpa's business in the 70s. Not sure though. I thought they were a neat addition to my collection. Any info is welcome. Edited by Bob Levi 09/01/2015 12:17 am

Funny, my bank was Marine Midland, and they turned into HSBC in 1999, now Community Bank locally.

Quote: I thought they were a neat addition to my collection. Certainly. They have some additional sentimental value as well.

Do you collect those types of wrappers? I never thought of people collecting those. Wonder how many different ones are out there.

When I was a kid in the 70s these I literally handled thousands of these (both designs look VERY familiar) and they were the only only ones our banks had. I helped my grandfather roll over 900.00 of change weekly from his business. We also used orange quarter wrappers and blue nickel wrappers with the same type of design. in fact I know I have at least one of each (with coins in them) in the safe deposit. There was also a $5.00 quarter wrapper (half roll) in a bit more red color than the orange quarter ones.

I collect old wrappers :)
I have some from the Cleveland Trust bank downtown from as early as the 50's.

I found a roll of nickels in a wrapper from the Sunnyville bank in California or something similar. I found it interesting how that roller came all the way from South West to North East.

I'm saying they're from the mid 60s due to the "Atomic Age" type font which may have blead over to the early 70s or under to the late 50s though... Fonts are changed throughout different eras and can be used as a guage to narrow down the age of undated ephemera

I have to agree. Fonts are good indicators.
