Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a Coin Junkie.

I've been a coin collector since I was a kid. It started when I asked my Mom for a quarter (I was 6), and she gave me an 1855 5 Francs with Louis Philippe I. Why she had that I never knew.

I'm trying to collect a set of Jefferson nickels from pocket change, or the occasional bought roll.

I'm also collecting lots of US and World Error Coins.

I just started collecting US Large Cents and Colonials.

I collect Czarist Russian coins and early Federation ones.

I have a near complete set of Canadian Nickels.

I'd like to have a 5c denomination collection from as many countries as I can.

I also collect Ancients, and am kind of an expert on the coinage of Elagabalus.

I also collect Casino Chips and love cultivating Carnivorous Plants.

"5 cents" or the equivalent from many countries is an interesting collection... it will be a lot of fun to work on...

aboard! I like Lg. Cents too! I have an intrest in Colonials as well, but so far due to $ that only includes George II pennies (I guess that would fall under pre-independence colonial?)

I would try to turn you on to Civil War tokens but given your current interests... It's a safe bet that will come in due time anyway.
