You have way too many 1875 CC. Please send one to me to help even everything out. Nice collection, but you have to add at least one dollar to it.

Nice. Very original looking. I'd like to add more CCs too, but all I have are a bunch of Morgans and GSA Morgans.

Those are awfully nice 20 cent pieces, and must have taken quite a while to find. I've got one nice-toned VG 1875-cc 20 cent, and considered myself lucky to find it in 20 years of looking. Probably the best cc I have right now is an 1878-cc quarter in AU. Not great in terms of rarity, but for showing off all the mint's faults - deeply scratched obverse die, rust spots and all.

Prethen doesn't go for the "Common Stuff" remember ? He would never own a Morgan dollar CC (or any other mintmark)

Right but if he's making a grouping of CC's the he needs atleast a dollar in there.

Prethen, I am sure that you are not interested in a "common" CC Morgan, but have you thought about a nice CC Seated or Trade dollar A much less expensive alternative would be to look for a matching set of 1875CC dimes with mint marks above and below the wreath.

Morgan dollars, in general, don't interest me much simply because they are very available and essentially trade as a commodity. I know that the CC's are a sexier mint to have and are higher priced due to demand, but they are generally quite available as well. My eyes just glaze over when I go to a coin show and see case after case filled with Morgan dollars. I mean no disrespect to Morgan collectors...they just don't do anything for me. I've bought and sold hundreds of them. I only have a few, including a nice AU 1882 O/S, otherwise the rest are super common. Any other CC dollar is basically out of my reach. I'm still looking for other CC type material, but not gold.

Nice selection of twenty centers. What do they all grade, VF-XF?

Ditto on the morgan cc's - I'll take the seated material any day of the week. I sold them all except for the 1893-cc in F12, which I hung on to for being the last year of the mint. Considering where the prices have gone, I kick myself every once in a while for selling the 1889-cc for $125. But it was a G-4, and 15 years ago that's what they sold for.

Nice. The only CC coin I own is a Morgan dollar I bought from Bryan.
