Hi all, What grade would you attach to the following 1907 $2.5 Liberty Coin? I will be sending it to NGC next week, so in a couple of weeks, I'll know the answer :-) But would be nice to get some grade estimates...

Looks uncirculated but I am wondering what the big dot on the reverse is under the S in states

I don't know what the dot is... The coin looks much nicer in hand than it does on the picture. It definitely has nice cart wheel effect, and few tiny scratches. I will try to take better pictures later today.

Tone the contrast down a little in the photo to get a better look at the surfaces.

I'll guess MS63. MS62 is also in the running for sure but the luster in the earlier images might give it a bump.

I'll go with MS-63+. The coin could go 64 but my guess would be some of the hits on the neck might be enough to hold it back.
