I did not buy this set.

If I did I would be inclined to keep it intact, therefore I say "save it."

Depends on if you're keeping the graded coin or selling it.

If you collect coins and currency, I would keep the bill in the packaging to show off with the graded coin.

If you only collect coins, I would sell off the packaging and bill.

If you plan to sell the graded coin, sell it with the bill and packaging to up the price a bit.

I'm grading the coin to keep. Have no interest in the bill, but at least it doesn't take up much room. I'm also saving one set in OGP.

Not really an error, just poor packaging. Someone did manage to sell one on ebay at a premium. It's like saying that a rotated coin in a proof set is an error.

I just got a message back from NGC. You don't need to chop up the packaging to just submit the coin. You can send in the entire set and ask them to just grade the coin. You'll need to specify that you want the OGP back.

Now that I think more about it I'm not sure what I would do with the complete OGP in the future. It's not likely I would crack out a 69 grade coin to make a "raw" set when the raws are selling for around $20.

Not many (none) NGC69's out there to get a price (vs. raw)for comparison

I have raw sets and I will have graded coins from the set also...that works

(and a few $1 bills )
