Hi everybody!

First, sorry for my poor English, I'm from the Netherlands so please be gentle

In my collection I have some Model 1 penny's in a very good state.
Today I was looping at them when 1 coin looked strange.
The coin has an extra letter E in the word "penny".

Google only told me it is rare?
Could somebody please confirm this?
Has anybody got more information?

Sorry for the poor pics, just made them with an Iphone...

I'm not too familiar with these, but there seems to be good information in this link:

Someone will likely comment that knows more

Bump,

Searched a long time and this is what I've found out:

This is number 8 known to exist and maybe the best grade of them all
I think I'm going to send it to Paris (PCGS)

What does everybody think about the grade?

Yes,

Some very nice folks on a English coin forum gave me a lot of help.
They where really shocked when I told them how much I paid for the coin.
I paid 16 euro for two coins and one of them you see here :)

At some Engish coin auctions a couple of them went to other collectors for prices I could not dream of.
Between £400 and £900 pound. (Insert freak smiley...)
My coin is in a car better condition.

At the end of this month I'm sending it in so geuss a grade!

nice coins greener !! looks like it will grade high

few quesions about sending coins in because you being a dutch guy
i live in belgium but have never submitted

howmuch would that set you back sending them in?
and how would you know to discribe the value on the pdf form if you don't know yourself?
+ 12€ extra to send it back and the VAT how does that work?
i have read the detailed info but still got some holes to fill :)

Nway good luck on the grading!

I use a Dutch company for sending them in person in to PCGS.
Use Google to find them because I don't know it is against the rules to name the company.
It's expensive so I send them only in if the value of the coin is worth it.

2 november I can collect my coin :).
According the company it will come back at MS63, best known in the world woooot.
