All,
So for my first topic here, I'll let you know the results of my fourth box of pennies (I know, cents, but the box DOES say pennies).
I just dropped the coppers into a box I had as they came up but I'd say, it was rather light on copper perhaps 10-15%.
I was getting a little disappointed as about 1/2 way through, I'd only had two wheats, both 1956D's and two Canadian (both 1976).
Well, as the last few rolls were left, it started picking up with some additional wheats for a total of 10.
4 Wheats were from the same roll (like the second or third from last!):
2x 1951S
1x 1955D
1x 1957D
All 10 Wheats were from the 1950s.
2x 1951S
2x 1952D
2x 1955D
2x 1956D
1x 1957D
1x 1958D
Besides the wheats, I had an additional 10 San Francisco minted pennies (seem very common in this box, with 10 from 1969 to 1974 (no 1970).
I also had a good grouping from the 1970s with some really nice lightly circulated ones, mostly all Denver mint.
