Hi having problems with my lap top
so I'm going to try this from my phone. I've
come across a couple of quarters that I'm
hoping you can help me with if this is machine
doubling or what I might be seeing. I'm only
posting this first one tonight but the second
one is the same year but different with the doubling.
I'll do that one tomorrow. Hoping someone can
educate me a bit on this one. Thank you

A couple are upside down. Sorry about that
I hope they can be seen alright doing it this way.

Hi SA, if you could take your pictures on a 90 degree angle (straight on), and diffuse away some of the glare, it would make it much easier to see what you have. It's hard for me to differentiate what is on your coin from the glare. It is not as necessary to turn them right side up, but that would afford more comfortable viewing. Also a concise verbal description of what you see should accompany the pictures. This would be good each time you post. I know it's a little more work, but it's the best way to get accurate answers.

I think you're tricking yourself with your lighting. It's easy to do. Sometimes at just the right angle the lights and reflections off of the fields look exactly like doubling.

I think you might be exactly right Durkastani, I looked at a shiny penny yesterday and thought I had a really nice one until I looked again and the beautiful doubling went from east to west. I was really disappointed.

Thanks you guys. I know I am terrible with the pictures, and sometimes takes me trying many different ways but I found taking them outside in a shaded area was
Best to be able to see. With that quarter I had taken three quarters fromy granddaughter after we left the store. I didn't need I a magnifying glass or anything I could see the bottom where it says quarter dollar and the God we trust I could see it without even bringing the quarter up to my eyes. Oh and Liberty as well. The rest of the coin and the back I really didn't see anything except maybe some shadowing. I'm a penny person so the quarter stood out with me which I then started to compare them with other quarters I had here. The other quarter same type of quarter also had a doubling but different looking from this one. Let me try to upload the other quarter so you can see the difference, but for me I had wondered being there was doubling on both that I could see with the naked eye (and my eyes aren't the best lol) I wanted to get opinion why that's there or is it possible it the design of this one coin being they're both have some sort of doubling on them? These two quarters have me curious. I appreciate any help, thank you.

I'll be right back I'm going to try to upload the other one. I know what you mean about the lighting. On the next quarter you can see a line going right through quarter dollar and another picture taken different angle didn't show that line. Tomorrow I'll try to take better pictures of the one above and see if I can get them clearer.

This is a picture of the other 2015 quarter that
I was talking about. The first picture you can
see some sort of doubling and a line going
right through it, and the second picture different
angel you don't see the line. I'm clueless with
these quarters not mention I'm not to familiar
with these I'm still very much in the learning process :)

The last image show Die Deterioration. (Always toward the rim) The "T" is normal in size, but the field area is showing a rolled area upward on the devices parallel to rim.

Thank you CoinMaster. I'm having a real hard
time figuring out between Machine Doubling and doubled dies.
I don't give up that easily though, I'm kinda hooked on this :) Besides its two more quarters my little grandson and granddaughter can earn to go to the lollipop store. :)

Thank you all of you for the help...
