I added up only the first photo and I put that at around $1500. The $10 national from New Canaan, CT is worth at least $1000 by itself. The rest of the nationals at several hundred a piece. The 1914 $100 would be in the $800 range. The 1918 $2 is another pricey note, especially in the condition it's in. You're looking at THOUSANDS for the whole lot.

I was a little higher on the first picture. There are 2 small 50.00 notes, the 10's and 20's are not all 1922's there is a 1907 $10 and a 1906 $20 in that pile.
The thousands price doesn't bother me much. I know I can't keep them all, but if I can buy them get the ones I want graded and sell the rest and almost break even I'd be happy. The guy who has them isn't a dealer he just knows they have value and he picked them up cheap so he's willing to deal.

Would be difficult for me to offer a value without the notes in hand.

So much depends on conditon. I say with respect that it is impossible to value these notes based on these photos. Completely impossible.

I completely understand coinfrog. I'm having a hard time looking at them without showing my hand. The pokerface is weak when you have them in front of you. I know the price he wants is fair with some wiggle room left to part it out a bit and keep the ones I want without completely breaking the bank. I have a big wad of hundreds in my pocket. Going to see him tomorrow and see what cash does to his bottom price. Start low and keep adding to the pile until they are mine.
Calzonemaniac don't be too green with envy. The notes are nice, but explaining to the wife how much they cost can be a bit intimidating. I guess I'll have to stop at the ugg store on the way home and bring her a present to soften the blow.

Can't help you. Just wanted to say I drooled on my keyboard. I have no gold certificates yet. Wish I did. Hope you swoop up big time on this deal.

$1800 for all? That's WAY too low. The first photo alone is easily that.

Well I worked out a decent or at least I think it was decent deal for the lot. I payed 3000. Now I have to send a few of them of to get graded and decide which ones I'll have to part with.

More than a fair price. Post your results when they come back from being graded.
