This quarter is in a ANI basement slab. Please let me know what you would grade the coin. The coin was a gift when I purchased an expensive coin.

your photo is of a 1944 quarter. and I will give it MS-64. I like the reverse better than the obverse.

MS64, the obverse has a few rub marks, and the reverse is really nice.

Lots of breaks in the luster on the obverse.
Questions is how did they occur?
If they are bag marks then I could see MS-62 or -63.
If they are handling marks then I'm seeing AU-55 or -58.
And I'm leaning towards "handling marks" since the reverse appears untouched (no apparent bag marks).

slider23, , I can see why this slabbed coin was a gift. don't get me wrong. it's a nice coin but not a 65 IMHO.

MS-62. A strong strike both obverse and reverse, but the cheek rub lowers the grade.

Pretty hard to argue with ANI on as 65 here!
