This is a NICE example and I believe it to be real, it is probably WAY closer to an MS grade then first appears. Wonderful example, mind me asking how you found it?

This is from hunting rolls from TD bank, CND pennies getting harder to find.

Yes its pennies like this that keeps me asking at banks for them. At 2.35g its almost a gram light, I think its supposed to be around 3.25g. I love face value finds.

I remember back in the 1950s that I would notice an occasional lop-sided planchet on Canadian pennies in Northern Ohio. And thin ones.......

Great snag Denny, weak strike due to less material in the planchet. Facial features on Queen and large Maple on reverse are faded or gone! Weak denticles all over. Nice find, keep hunting pennies while you can.

Very nice, circulated, but definitely a legit coin struck on a thin planchet. Back then, the mint was not making coins for other countries, so something like this might have been near the end of a rolled strip of bronze, and a bit thinner. It is thicker on the bottom (7 o'clock) than it is at the top (1 o'clock)?
Awesome coin roll pick!!

Thank-you for all the comments on this coin everyone, again its like I said this is why I'm still asking for pennies at my local banks and turning my finger tips brown while looking through circulated grungy coin. Keep on searching!
