I've been trying to make an online awacs account lately and I fill out all the info, but every time on the last step it says an unexpected error occurred... has this been happening to anyone else? is there anything I can do to stop that?

not sure why anacs auto corrects to awacs....

I had the same issue about a year ago. I ended up calling the help desk, and they made an account for me. I was also having issues with viewing their web site. Only answer they gave me for why, was that I was using a Mac computer with the chrome browser. I still have issues with their web site sometimes. Guess it's a program issue?

It's been broken for a long time. Some people have no trouble it and takes 30 seconds. For many of us no matter what you do it will not let you sign up.
So if it's giving you grief just pick up the phone and call the 800 number ( or as I call it dialing for dingbats ). This will save you a lot of aggravation in the end.

I help set up two accounts in the past couple months,
both times once I got to the last step had to call
to finish. They gave me the impression, that of
course I should be calling them once I got that far.
They have a lot of little quirks ... but I like what
they do .. for the price. I have eleven coins in with
them right now.

It seems they choose to invest their capital in places other than Information Technology. If I lived closer, I might volunteer my services. :p

I had trouble signing up for ANACS a month or so ago... I just shot their customer service/ tech people (i don't remember wich one) an email and they got it working for me!

It's a normal glitch. Just call them like the others said and you will be good to go.
Has anybody noticed ANACS population report search is now up. I always had trouble getting the stats. I don't know if it was just me, but it is pretty impressive now.

ok thanks! I also have a mac so maybe ill try on my parents PC and if that doesn't work ill call

It's really weird. A lot of people have a heck of a time signing up, including me. All it took was a phone call to clear it up.

As everyone else has mentioned it is an ongoing issue for years now. I signed up over 2 years ago but it says I don;t have an account but can't create a new account because the account already exists  I get the email specials so I guess it doesn't matter. Anyone who can log in want to tell me what additional features or info you get when logged in? |

Curious... I'm on a MAC and using Chrome and I just signed up in about 10 seconds... Really strange...
