To be honest, I would not want to buy someones collection. I would rather put all that money into building my own unique and special coin collection. I am a VERY picky coin buyer.

The coins are decent, but it's common. No rare or higher valur coins in there. Remeber quality over quantity, and that superinflated $12,500 price tag doesn't help either.

They're hoping someone sees the super inflated $14k appraisal of that $800 ring and thinks he'll be buying the ring and getting the coins for "free"

You'd think they would offer that ring in a separate lot from the coins.

Has a single one of these insane lots ever sold? I see a lot of silver bullion in the form of silver eagles and 90% circulated junk, a ring that does not interest me as a coin collector, a few items of numismatic interest, and a pile of what I am going to assume are common date wheats. I would never drop several month's pay on something I could not see in person. I can't even read the labels on half the slabs.

I've made blind "just for fun" bids on coin collections, but this is insane.

Local pickup only & no ebay bucks

I love the begging and pleading in the description. I think she's trying to sell her boy friend's collection, (including the rings he gave her,) so she can hurry up and skip town.

.......meet at a public place (so I can carefully begin go over every single item, and compare it to your photos, including the items that "were too many to even list,") so you can hope she even show up.

Sounds risky, no sales in quite a while. Is there a way to tell if it's a hijacked account?

I see a few coins I would cherry pick ... But with out grading and pricing
each coin I would not be near 12K.

Some Morgan CC's, 25th ASE NGC 70's lot of silver.

Without a complete inventory .... Would just be guessing at
what a good price would be
Rest in Peace

Really crazy to pick up a big collection like that. Meet in a public place, hmm you know your not going to have enough time or privacy to carefully look over all those coins. (dates, mm, grades, etc.) Nope Not For Me.

So now picture meeting this person in a store parking lot. You now produce your thousands of dollars then someone jumps out of a van and POOF, your money is gone.
