So my friend's girlfriend works for a bank and one of her client's brought this too her so I bought it from them .

What do you guys think, never knew that nickels came in rolls of $1.25.

Just put a box of them on ebay already lol.(not trying to sell in the forum, just letting know) These are 2006 D Jefferson nickels. I have another one that are 2005 P buffalo ones. (not to be confused with the old buffalo's). It says that they are from the World Reserve Monetary Exchange. They are pretty fancy!

I've seen these at a lot of antique mall/flea market type places. There is also a "gold bar" version that has Sacagawea dollars in it. I think they were made by a third party company and sold for way over face in newspaper ads and the shop at home type television channels. The ones that I see for sale are typically always there, so I'm not sure if they sell and resupply or if they just sit and never sell.

For sure. Nice oddity of a pickup for you. Just be wary of companies with names that make you think they have something to do with a government

Interesting. I have two rolls of 1965 Jefferson nickels in BU I bought at an auction. They are original rolls and the interesting thing is that they are both $1 rolls.
