First time on this link. I am from the usa and have a question about a one dollar bill. On the reverse side of the bill the plate number is in the lower left side of the bill, not the lower right, has anybody seem one of these?

Yes. Is it a series 1981A or 1985 by any chance?

The plate was engraved on the wrong side. For years 1981A and 1985. Is the number a 129? What is the condition?

Post some photos if you get the chance. There are "better" districts that have this BP number.

Had a heck of a time figuring out how to download the dollar bill, as I'm old and not very computer literate

That note's been folded...maybe VF to XF...not UNC or AU.

It may appear to have been folded, but holding the bill, I see no fold mark

I have a rather large coin collection, so I have knowledge of pricing them, but how do I find a value for a bill such as this?
