I got this as change a couple of years back, when I was living in Okinawa. I wonder how long it floated around the island before I got it?

My uncle gave ME one, mines a 1935E. From what I could find online it is worth a dollar (same as yours condition wise), so I went to the coin shop and got one of them plastic sleaves for it, now its propped up on my desk. HH Mark

Its always surprising to hear what turns up in circulation. Actually I got a Silver Cert in change at Dunkin Donuts. Series 1935C But what was even more amazing than it being a silver cert was that it was Crisp Uncirculated and not even a wrinkle. I bet someone got spanked for spending that.
