1961 D Franklin Half RPM Number?

I don't see it listed on Wexler's website.

Is there any other good sites besides DD.com to look up Frankin Rpm's on?

Also what is that thing sticking out of the top of the MM. It kind of looks like the top of an "S", but the last Franklin half with an "S" MM was minted way back in 1954, so I don't think that's possible.

Looks like MD to me not an RPM.It's on top of the bell and on the letters also.

I see the MD but how would that split near the top serif happen?
