Has anyone used these? I was thinking of putting my 42 Canadian Silver Dollars in them. I presently have them in an album with the exception of a couple of graded slabs.

I like the labeling option and the fact that they are the same size as PCGS and NGC.

No one stocks them in my city so I will have a dealer order them in or order from another company on-line.

Lighthouse now has two varieties, the Everslab and the Quickslab (or something like that). The Everslab is basically permanent - I've never managed to open one without destroying it. The new Quickslab can be reopened and closed.

I've used several for low value coins that are part of a collection where everything else is in slabs. Can't say I'm in love with the black insert.

I've also bought holders from this guy: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Holders-/39...y_hobbiestoy ships fast from Hong Kong and often has mix & match assortments for sale.

I would have thought the black insert would contrast nicely with the silver coins. What did you not like about the black?

3 cent silver are so thin and small that they get lost in the black slab.

I am going with 36 mm Silver Dollars so "getting lost" should not be an issue.

At that size tilt won't be an issue either - they should look nice. Remember to remove any dust from the insert and shell with a micro fiber cloth before you put the coin in.

Will probably order next week. Would compressed air be better than the micro fiber cloth?
