At the back of one of my albums I have three Indian looking coins/tokens/medals each about 32-33mm of silvery appearance. Not sure where they came from, what they are and if they are of any value.

First coin:

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Second coin... similar front backs completely different

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Third coin

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Can't-Remember-Where-I-Got-Them-Or-What-They-Are

Any information gratefully received... many thanks

In theory, they're silver rounds. You should find the figures .999 on each of them. It's the type of thing handed out at New Year and maybe birthdays. I've not seen them used for advertising before as in the first coin.

Well you can see on the bottom of the first coin reverse 999, but I am hoping that somebody will understand the writing and be able to translate what they say and if they are dated.

Its a complete mystery where I got these from, I wish I could remember, date might narrow it down though.

First one is advertising a brand of battery, "Novino Hyper".

Indian culture is VERY big on stocking up on previous metals for a rainy day. They all seem to have religious connotation, but that does not necessarily mean their purpose is religious--they could be anything from a birthday gift to a "thank you for your patronage" gift.
Rest in Peace

Indian from India? Buddhist? Looks like some sort of trade token for businesses. Free battery at Patel's? Free henna with a hair cut? Gambling token. I don't know, maybe from little machine at temple?

They could be anything, I'm not an expert. They lean me to look in those directions. Have at it, ladies and gentlemen of CCF.

ETA: especially you younger collectors, nail it down.

So I will just write these down as having bullion value being silver rounds, unless someone who can understand the writing can give me a translation/date.

Thanks (even though I don't think we nailed it down)
