Anyone who has the Platinum Plus Master's Club level should have gotten a shipping notice for the free coin they are sending out. It is a scalloped shaped coin with geese flying on it. "2015 $20 38mm 9999Ag - Master of the Sky: Canada Goose (G)" We'll see how it looks in hand. I'll post some pictures once I get mine!

I don't recall seeing this coin before. My understanding was that it was suppose to be a special release.

Some dealers advertised this coin for a short period of time, then the ads were gone. As a matter of fact, this coin was in the original press release of the Mint's September release. But even they removed it afterward. Here is what's left from Google's cache.

Will see if it is really so.

[quote...It ain't free when you have to spend thousands to be a platinum plus member.....][/quote] I have to disagree. Many people here buy thousands of dollars worth of coins from the mint in order to stock their shelves. A free one ounce coin is a free one ounce coin.

Since I live in BC, I pay PST of 7% on coins. So to buy $5000 of coins from the RCM equals $350 PST. The value of coin is $99 but I have to sell out an extra $350 to get a $99 coin!

I assume these will be available to buy for the general public at some point as I don't think there are 6000 platinum plus members. If so then I cant see them demanding much of a premium. If however on some future coin they only made enough for the PPMs then these could be somewhat valuable possibly depending on how many were sent out etc. But I cant see them wasting the time and money making the dies/producing a few coins for the PPMs, although it would be more of an incentive to become PPM if this was to happen . Although they could modify a die set that was used for another coin and engrave a PPM in it or some such and only PPMs get the PPM version.Sort of like a PPM privy mark

Quote: The value of coin is $99 but I have to sell out an extra $350 to get a $99 coin! Agree with this, but will sell it differently: if one have no budget for new coin for $99, need to sell older 2-3 RCM coins, which issue price was 300-350. Or in simple words - no one wants to by standard RCM 1oz coin even for CAD 50, but for 30 - yes. Northerncoins right: The coin will have demand, if it would be minted exclusively to PP. Something similar to the medalion (2011 for example) for RCM workers.

Ask any platinum plus members, who cares for a regular issue coin, but if you were offered something exclusive like a brass 50 cent piece or silver loonie ect. that would be cool and an incentive to strive for, the way it is who cares or whoopi! This goose coin is like almost every NCLT coin in the past few years if you try to sell it's worth about half of what you paid.
