I got the call today that the coin came from back from NGC. Unfortunately, it was graded VF details, so I will not be purchasing it. I am VERY disappointed!! .
Rest in Peace

Was it because of cleaning? Trade dollars seem to be absolutely terrible for getting cleaned, much worse than even the Seated Liberty dollars. I'll bet your shop will keep their eyes open for another one for you if they offered to slab that one for free. Maybe you'll get an unexpected happy call!

Yes, it got a details grade because of a cleaning. I am currently trying to find one on the internet (not on ebay) to add to my collection.

Ouch, I bet you weren't even thinking that as a possibility being so exited and all. That was quite the wait for that outcome. Don't be too discouraged though and post possible ones you're looking at so we can collectively help you out with grade and surfaces
