This is my first official post outside of introducing myself. I'm still learning so bare with me please, I'll do my best to post correctly. Here are some pictures, it looks off center, the bottom of Lincoln is messed up (I don't know the correct terminology, sorry) because the bottom is messed up the initials are mushed. I've take a million photos, hopefully these are good enough.
I will definitely keep looking. The crazy thing is I've been going through rolls of pennies ( inherited from Grandpa recently) and nothing has really stood out I found this one in my pocket change. Frustrating and motivation at the same time. I'll be putting it up as my first official find though. Thank you for the replies so early in the morning.
To me the die looks like it has been over polished. The VDB initials are raised on the die and the polishing has distorted them a bit. Making also the Die Deterioration (die wear) show. Possible die scratches on the lower side of the shield.
