I see doubling on face of lincoln, and it is raised. Opinions?

Machine doubling, ran across several simular to yours in the cents I've been going thru.

Very, very seldom is doubling of the profile at the field actually going to be hub doubling (a doubled die). In fact, I know of no genuine examples.

Pretty much 100% of all profile edge doubling is going to be either reduction lathe bounce doubling or Machine Doubling of one sort or another, and none of it has any premium value.

I have some 1984 cents and one 1984 D cent that are all doubled dies. There is doubling on the lower section of thwe bust as well as doubling of the upper part of the hairline.

The date has very specific doubling as well on both the 1984 and '84 D.

A clear picture of the date would help as well as a picture of the bottom of the bust from the shoulder to the right.
